Tae Pae once aspired to be a kung fu movie star who wowed crowds with his snake and drunken style boxing. His acrobatic flair, however, was replaced in high school by youth ministry, and he was called into full-time ministry as a youth pastor after Bible College. Inspired by the courageous boldness of 1st century disciples, Pastor Tae has assumed the role of Missions Pastor at New Life, boldly dreaming of one day dying overseas for the glory of Christ like his spiritual hero Stanley Albert Dale - with fifty arrows in his body. In the meantime, God has called Pastor Tae to invest his energy in New Life missions in Houston and abroad and in raising two children - Madison and Hudson - with his lovely wife Kathy. Still an avid fan of kung fu cinema, Pastor Tae continues to live by his favorite verse, Proverbs 11:30, and believe wholeheartedly that "he who wins souls is wise". |
