In 2004, Lisa was invited to house church by a close friend, and in 2005 she accepted Christ into her heart as her Lord and Savior. During this time, she was also working as a legal assistant in a law firm specializing in foreclosures. Lisa began praying that if it was God's will, He would open doors to a job where she could serve Him full-time. God's timing was perfect and Lisa ended up working at New Life Fellowship, where she is working as an administrator.

The very first Bible verse Lisa remembers, and still holds dear to her heart is Matthew 6:33 - But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. She says it reminds her that God should always come first and everything else that God has planned for her will be laid out according to His will.

On her downtime you will find Lisa reading, baking, and hanging out with friends, family, and youth students.
