Prayer for Group Missions Teams
Please remember to pray for the various short-term missions teams: Laos Team (6/11 – 6/25), Inner City Team (6/13 – 6/18), Thailand Team (7/16 – 7/29), Burmese Refugee Camp (7/16-7/29), Cambodia (7/31 – 8/15), and Camp Barnabas (8/8 – 8/15). Pray that each of these teams will bring the greatest glory to God!
House Church during Summer
We encourage all the house churches to come up with creative ways to reach out to their unbelieving friends and family especially during summer!
Youth Volunteer Recruitment
We are seeking men and women who have a God-given desire to serve in our youth ministry. If you feel led to serve in any way for this upcoming year, please contact Pastor Sam Oh. Training for current and new youth volunteers begins in August. We will have youth shepherds at the Welcome Center after service to answer any questions.
Sunday Morning Intercessory Prayer
The single women will be responsible for Sunday Morning Intercessory Prayer in August. Single women will gather in the Conference Room (Rm 101) at 9:45AM for refreshments and prayer.
Cambodia Mission Team Prayer
Today during worship. The Cambodia Mission Team will be leaving this Saturday afternoon, 7/31. Please pray that God would use them as His instruments in revealing His love and grace.
NLF Family Meeting
There will be a NLF Family Meeting for all registered NLF members on Sunday, 8/8, immediately following the worship service. We will be conducting the vote of confidence for the lay Leadership Team members per the recently revised bylaws.
2010 Fall Retreat Registration
The Fall Retreat will be from 11/12 – 11/14 at Camp Allen in Navasota, Texas. The theme is "Spirit-Driven Life" with guest speaker Jonathan Park. Early bird registration starts Sunday, 8/8. Please mark your calendars!
Congratulations
Eric and Huong Chu had their third son, Simeon. Brian and Julie Chong had twin daughters, Olivia and Elisa. May the Lord bless Simeon, Olivia, and Elisa and use them for His great kingdom purpose!
