MISSION STATEMENT
“Our mission is to spread the gospel by risking our lives for the glory of God and for the gladness of all nations.”
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Missions Team is to spread the gospel in all of Southeast Asia by planting a New Life Fellowship Church in Chiang Mai. We believe God has led our church to focus on Southeast Asia where there is great suffering and persecution, and it is a strategic location to raise up disciples for Christ.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be a member of New Life Fellowship and have completed the CLASS 201 to volunteer for the Missions Team Ministry due to the security of missionaries on the field and the nature of the spiritual warfare of the ministry.

Opportunities:
  • Volunteer to promote and recruit people to take Perspectives Missions Training course that will be offered at our Church.
  • Volunteer to mobilize people to attend mission conferences throughout the year to learn from various mission organizations and agencies.
  • Volunteer to coordinate and invite bold and courageous missionaries to teach and speak at our Missions Month.
  • Volunteer to bring AIDS awareness to our congregation by supporting AIDS Care Giver Kit through World Vision and Agape Home in Thailand.

Opportunities:
  • Volunteer to Mobilize people for CLASS 401 so that our congregation will obtain a passion for the world mission.
  • Volunteer to take care of all the logistics (passport, airfare, visa, and vaccinations) of short-term mission teams
  • Volunteer to be a support team (putting together care-packages, prayer cards, and providing refreshments during the training).
  • Experienced volunteers needed to serve as short-term mission team leaders.
  • Experienced volunteers need to serve as mission debriefing encouragers.

Opportunities:
  • Volunteer to keep each of the House Churches accountable for the bi-monthly financial support of its missionary.
  • Volunteer to assist the House Churches in making House Church Missionary Presentations and the prayer cards.
  • Volunteer to promote and fire-up the Church for the bi-monthly meetings to pray for the missionaries around the world.
  • Volunteer to embark on a vision trip to the persecuted countries where our House Church missionaries are serving.
Community Impact Team

Opportunities:
  • Volunteer to organize the Community Tutoring Program and recruit our high school youths and college students.
  • Volunteer to organize the Fall Festival Outreach and be committed to do follow-ups throughout the year.
  • Volunteer to be our liaison with the Mission of Yahweh Women’s Shelter to identify and help with their needs, such as the Thanksgiving Can Food Drive and Christmas Toy Drive.
  • Volunteer to help out with the monthly Open Door Homeless Shelter ministry.
